Our mission is to empower young women in Wyoming to be their best selves and strive for excellence while offering educational scholarships and extraordinary opportunities.

The Miss Volunteer America is a nationwide, service-oriented scholarship program based in Tennessee that seeks to empower young women across the country through educational scholarships and extraordinary opportunities.

Our organization is starting our second year and we are so excited to continue bringing many scholarship and volunteer opportunities to the young women of Wyoming.

The Miss Wyoming Volunteer Organization is a state competition for the Miss Volunteer America Organization, which is a nationwide, service-oriented scholarship program based in Tennessee that seeks to empower young women across the country through educational scholarships and extraordinary opportunities.

Miss Wyoming Volunteer is the only state qualifier to compete in the Miss Volunteer America Competition.  Both Miss Wyoming Volunteer and Miss Wyoming Teen Volunteer will fulfill a yearlong contract or year of service.  During their year they will research and prepare speeches to deliver to audiences of all sizes, work with our sponsors, conduct a media tour, perform their talents at public and private events, and anything else that may come their way.  They also advocate for their platform which could include, but is not limited to, mental health, domestic violence, diabetes awareness, body positivity, and so much more!

Our titleholder’s social media presence reaches thousands of followers each day and their journeys to compete at the national level provide an experience like no other and a network of 49 other states. Both titleholders will also gain friendships and collaborations for a lifetime. 

Since we are new, I would like to give you an insight into our 5-year plan.  Within the next 5 years we would like to: 

• Offer the newly crowned Miss Wyoming Volunteer and Miss Wyoming Teen Volunteer each $10,000 in cash scholarships

• Provide them with their gowns and plane tickets for the national competitions in Tennessee

• Have their travel expenses paid for to relieve financial stress during their years of service 

• Provide scholarships to ALL young women who compete at our annual competitions

• Provide our titleholders with appearances throughout our beautiful state

• And that’s just the start!
